On April 29, 2021 took place the 10 year anniversary edition of the Startup Champions Seed Night, the annual event that brings together the best of innovation from EPFL and beyond. The event has been discovering many talents since the first edition in 2012 and this year was no exception.

20 startups gathered for a pitch competition and participants voted for their favorites to select the finalists while our jury awarded the winner: Enerdrape and its CEO Margaux Peltier, an EPFL alumna in Civil Engineering. Enerdrape develops a panel-like cleantech that allows to turn any kind of new and existing underground infrastructures into renewable heat sources for the heating and cooling needs of buildings, unlocking the untapped potential of clean energy supply that lies underneath our cities. Congratulations!

A huge thank you to all the entrepreneurs and to our keynote speakers Kamila Markram (PhD PH’06), founder and CEO of Frontiers, and Alexandre Gonthier (SC’94), founder and CEO of Trustly, to the 20 startups, the audience and of course to our sponsors.
