What is it?

Launched in 2018 in collaboration with Forum EPFL, this mentoring programme is a unique opportunity for Master students from all sections to get ready for the start of their career.

What career and what industry should I choose? Should I do a PhD? What would an experience abroad bring me? These questions, and countless others, are asked by a large number of EPFL students. The experience of alumni with careers in full swing can be of immense value in answering them.

150 to 250 mentor/mentee pairings are formed every year through this program.

For whom?

Mentee: the programme is for Masters students only who are willing to devote one hour a month to the program (MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, Master projects, upcoming graduates of the year)

Mentor: EPFL alumni with various education, profiles and career paths, who are willing to pass on their experience and give some time in order to help a future graduate. A minimum of 2 years of exeperience is recommended.

The mentoring relationship may be done in French or English and remotely if you/your mentee are/is abroad.

When?

Every year from April to November

How do I register?

Registration takes place every year in February/March, following an email sent by EPFL Alumni and Forum EPFL. If you are interested in taking part in the program or would like more information, please contact career.alumni@epfl.ch.

How do I register?

While we are working on a new digital tool for this program, registrations are temporarily closed. They will reopen shortly.

The more information you provide us, the better and faster we will be able to match you with the right mentee. As soon as we get a request that matches your profile, the student/young graduate will contact you directly. You will define together the goals, duration and frequency of the meetings.
