Swiss energy transition: give it a try! Interactive PowerPlay WORKSHOP (Sion)
The Chapter Vaud-Valais invites you to a workshop in Sion on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at the EPFL Valais-Wallis campus.
Through the serious game PowerPlay, participants will gain a better understanding of energy and climate challenges, key orders of magnitude, and the trade-offs required to reach Switzerland’s climate objectives. The workshop is collaborative and led by Cédric Junillon, founder of WattEd and EPFL alumnus.

Time: 6:00 pm–10:00 pm
Please note that the workshop will be conducted entirely in French.

- 5:45 pm Welcome and group allocation
- 6:15 pm Introduction to the PowerPlay game and rules
- 6:45 pm Workshop 1: Energy production
- 8:00 pm Break, finger food and drinks
- 8:15 pm Discussion and exchanges
- 8:45 pm Workshop 2: Energy consumption
- 9:30 pm Conclusion and networking drink
- 10:00 pm End of the event
Participation fee:
CHF 25 for contributors
CHF 45 for non-contributors

About PowerPlay and WattEd:
Developed by WattEd, PowerPlay is a serious game based on scientific agency reports, designed to help participants better grasp the complexity of the energy transition. Since 2023, more than 1,500 participants have taken part in the workshop, which is now used notably at EPFL and at the University of St. Gallen.
WattEd was founded by Cédric Junillon (EPFL MT’04), together with Jérôme Castella (UNIFR’16). Their goal is to make energy and climate topics accessible, rigorous, and engaging.
