Presentation
The food industry is facing increasing challenges to reduce waste and energy consumption. In this context, Bühler AG, leader in food processing technologies, was looking to improve the efficiency of its grain processing equipment. Nicolas Dorsaz started an innovation project with the support of Pascale Van Landuyt from Alliance Association for finding the appropriate laboratory and Innosuisse funding. The project is taking place in collaboration with EPFL’s Tribology and Interface Chemistry (TIC) laboratory for the academic research.
It will also be an opportunity to learn about the breadth of activities that EPFL and Alliance undertake to promote innovation and foster collaboration between researchers and the industry. The event will conclude with a networking aperitif, where you’ll have the chance to meet the presenting duo, the VPI and Alliance teams, as well as fellow EPFL alumni.
