The EPFL Alumni Eastern Switzerland chapter organized a one-of-its-kind event on Friday March 22nd, 2019: an afternoon at IWC in Schaffhausen.

International Watch Co is a world-famous watchmaking company founded more than 150 years ago in Schaffhausen. It is well-known for the great complexity of its production. After an introduction to IWC, alumni got the opportunity to discover the manufacture and the range of watches produced at the factory. Last but not least, they had the unique opportunity to get a watchmaking masterclass and to experiment the assembly and disassembly of a clockwork. This extraordinary afternoon was followed by an aperitif with finger food nearby.
