EPFL Alumni VD-VS chapter organized a visit of the glaciers of Ferpècle and Mount Miné, in Val d’Hérens, on August 31st, 2019. Focusing on global warming, this visit was a unique opportunity to realize on the ground the evolutions of the landscape and the glaciers. Accompanied by two experts – Hans-Ruedi Pfeifer, Prof. UNIL geology and Amédée Zryd, physicist and glaciologist – this event was co-organized by the La Maison des Alpes Foundation.
