To celebrate the end of the year, the committee of the EPFL Alumni chapter in Basel invited all fellow alumni and alumnae to join a Christmas Dinner preceded by a tour of the Feldschlösschen brewery and headquarters in Rheinfelden on December 15th. 

The site of the iconic Swiss beer hosts a “brewery castle” and a restaurant. During the guided tour we heard more about the founders of the brewery ("the farmer and the brewer") and could take a glimpse at the production facilities (still using old copper vessels at the start of fermentation in the historic part of the facility dating from 1907).

After the tour, we could sample all types of different beers produced by Feldschlösschen and enjoy a dinner in nice company.
