The presidents discussed with distinguished local alumni, Mariko Burgin (NASA & ETH Zurich alumna), and Igor Perisic (Google & EPFL alumnus), the strong connections between research institutions in Silicon Valley and Switzerland, education in Switzerland, collaborations between the two schools and why people who studied at both institutions come to the US.
