On September 21st, 2020, Alumni living in Eastern Switzerland had the opportunity to visit the new Europaallee district in Zurich. Directly adjacent to Zurich’s main railway station, the district is marked by modern and urban architecture, realized by internationally renowned offices between 2009 and 2020. This part of the city generates new connections and new public spaces in the city centre and has a great mix of uses, accommodating 1’800 students, offering 6’000 workplaces, 400 apartments, 170 hotel beds as well as numerous shops, restaurants and leisure facilities.
