À propos du groupe
Committee: Dr. Carolina Ödman-Govender (President)
Southern Africa is home to a great number of opportunities: resources, young populations, fast growing economies, vast lands and oceans, increased global connections. The region also has challenges: infrastructure, public health, talent discovery and nurture, red tape – but those challenges can be seen through the lens of opportunity for innovation and value generation.
In this context, the Southern Africa EPFL Alumni chapter aims to:
· Build a community of EPFL Alumni in the region
· Create mutually beneficial interactions between the Southern Africa Alumni and EPFL through communications, promotion of opportunities and collaborations in the academic and industrial contexts.
· Keep a tight coordination with diplomatic efforts in the areas of engineering, science and technology.
· Support the career development of EPFL Alumni in the region through networking
EPFL Alumni in the region all bring valuable knowledge about their local and regional professional context. This will be the starting point of our efforts.
We look forward to you joining us!
