On April 10th, 2025, during the 14th edition of the Startup Champions Seed Night, 20 startups took the stage to pitch their innovative ideas aimed at shaping the future of modern technology. Once again, almost 500 people joined the event at the Forum Rolex and online for a vibrant evening.
With an impressive lineup of projects, the jury had the tough task of selecting the best of the best. Congratulations to MoleSense for winning the 2025 competition!
MoleSense is developing the first molecular maternity management wearable, addressing the $45B maternal care market - a game-changer in maternity health management. The startup is led by Gian Luca Barbruni, who obtained his PhD at EPFL in 2023.
We wish to thank all of the attendees who make it a full house event year after year, as well as our keynote speaker Vincent Delattre, co-founder of Onward Medical and an EPFL graduate in Life Sciences.
Congratulations as well to Manon Rolland and Claire Bourmaud, cofounders of Koatin'G, who were honored with the prestigious Musy Award. Their technology makes it possible to replace toxic petroleum products in bank receipt paper with healthier, more sustainable alternatives.
We also want to extend our gratitude to all the startups that pitched on stage: SaisiR; Badger; Verretex; Hikane; Circelec; Azure Cell Therapies; Luxtelligence; Digehealth; Dyneo; MoleSense; Healium; Ex Nunc Intelligence; Bioscibex; Roofscapes; Inkocell Therapeutics; Avenir; Juvion Life Sciences; MobiLysis; Focus Technology; PAVE Space.
