Mission:

  • Conduct experimental laboratory activities in medical ultrasound acoustics, including device testing, contrast agent characterization, acoustic modeling and image processing


Activities:

Under the responsibility of the Physics lab manager, you will have to perform the following tasks:

  • Conduct laboratory experimentation in the field of ultrasound Physics using custom test benches, including signal acquisition and processing 
  • Test new applications for acoustic responsive agents, in the domain of ultrasound imaging and therapy
  • Prepare in vitro models
  • Process signal and images
  • Be involved in pre-clinical imaging and therapeutic studies

Skills and expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applied Physics 
  • Strong knowledge in applied Physics in the field of wave and fluid mechanics, ideally complemented by a life science background
  • Ability to provide expertise and establish experimental protocols
  • Experience in scientific software and instrumentation programming (Matlab, Python, Labview)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Fluency in English (both oral and written)
  • Highly motivated, rigorous and effective problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork oriented
