Roadshow EPFL Alumni Chapter Morocco
Morocco, in the midst of an economic and social transformation, is positioning itself as a key player linking Africa, Europe and the rest of the world, thanks to its strategic investments, expanding infrastructure and bold reforms.
Objectives
This 3-day roadshow is designed for members of EPFL Alumni branches to :
1. Discover Morocco's flagship projects in innovation, sustainability and connectivity.
2. Highlight opportunities for collaboration between Alumni and Moroccan players.
3. Strengthen ties between EPFL Alumni branches through an enriching and interactive immersion.
4. Raise awareness of Morocco's impact on the development of the African continent, particularly in key sectors such as energy, technology and education.
Target program
▪ Wednesday October 15: Arrival of Participants in Casablanca and Alumni reunion evening in a setting inspired by Moroccan culture with distinguished guests.
▪ Thursday October 16: Visit to Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P) in Benguerir and presentation of research projects and international partnerships, notably with EPFL. Visit to Marrakech and networking dinner with Moroccan and foreign managers and partners operating in Morocco.
▪ Friday October 17: Round Table in Rabat to discuss the impact of Alumni networks around the world through speakers and testimonials from a variety of backgrounds.
Visit to the Remparts de la Ville de Rabat and return for a free evening in Casablanca.
▪ Saturday, October 18: Trip to Tangier in a privatized LGV (High Speed Line) car to illustrate the expansion of local infrastructure and visit Tangier Med, one of the largest ports in Africa and the Mediterranean.
Wrap-up and closing session on the way back in the LGV with souvenir distribution and thanks to participants and partners.
▪ Sunday October 19: Transfer of participants to their departure airports.
