It was great to have EPFL Alumni China Greater Bay Area chapter created on July 4, 2024 under witness of Swiss Federal Council Guy Parmelin, Swiss ambassador in Beijing Mr. Jürg Burri, Swiss General Consul in Guangzhou Mr. Philippe Praz, and CEO of swissnex China Mr. Philippe Roesle. It was a big honor of EPFL Alumni China and we are all proud to have this new chapter in China under such precious circumstance.

Shiyu Cheng was appointed as VP of GBA chapter. By having this role Shiyu Cheng will take the overall responsibility of operations and development of this GBA chapter supported by 4 members of the committee: Huayan Yang, Ivan Istomin, Qingwen Cui and Ke Liu. 

Align with the characters of Shenzhen and the GBA, we wish GBA chapter to become a dynamic chapter with full of success and attracting all EPFL alumni in GBA.

By taking this opportunity, we thank once more Shiyu Cheng, Ivan Istomin, Huayan Yang, Qingwen Cui, Ke Liu and all other EPFL Alumni in GBA for their initiative, organization and essential contribution to the successful creation of this new chapter in China.
