Transforming Alzheimer's care: a sneak peek at Roche's commitment to addressing the world' first cause of dementia. Alzheimer's disease is accounting for about 70% of all cases and stands as one of the 21st century's greatest health challenges.
We are truly excited to announce our flagship event for this year. Organized jointly between Roche and the Basel EPFL Alumni Chapter, this exclusive event will take place on November 13th on the Roche campus in Basel. Join us to discover the pioneering work led by Roche’s Diagnostics and Pharmaceuticals divisions to change how Alzheimer’s disease can be addressed today and in the future.
Gathering a panel of three experts, each representing Roche's activities across its two divisions as well as in digital health, we will be exploring the current efforts across the organisation aiming to improve how we might prevent, detect and manage Alzheimer's disease.
Panelists:
- Mathieu Chaffard (Host, Digital Ecosystem Innovation Manager APAC/EMEA at Roche Diagnostics), who advises affiliates and regions on digital health innovation matters across Roche Diagnostics, and hosts the Impulse podcast.
- Nikos Green (Business Development Director at Rox Health), who spearheads digital health ventures with a focus on neurology, partnering with global leaders and startups to launch products that improve patient outcomes.
- Joana Amorim Freire (Scientific Communications Lead at Roche Diagnostics), who leads communication efforts on blood-based biomarkers for screening, diagnosis, and monitoring of Alzheimer's disease
- Tobias Bittner (Distinguished Scientist in Translational Medicine at Roche Pharmaceuticals) who spearheads the development for Alzheimer's disease of blood-based diagnostic assays and related data curation to accelerate research and clinical trial efficiency.
The panel discussion will be followed by an informal networking apero just outside the auditorium, generously sponsored by Roche. We look forward to seeing you there!
