Women's Club x Nexthink: Networking event in Lausanne

The registration deadline has expired.

Dear alumnae,

Did you know? As of July 1, 2020, the Swiss Equality Act (LEg) requires companies with more than 100 employees to carry out an equal pay analysis. However, if the analysis shows that equal pay has been achieved, the employer is released from the obligation to repeat the analysis (art. 13a para. 3 LEg). Some equal pay certifications allow a difference of up to 5% between men's and women's salaries. So how do you find your way around labels, certifications and value statements when looking for a job?

The EPFL Alumni Women's Club is organizing an aperitif on Wednesday September 20, starting at 6:30 pm at the Arcadia restaurant (Pl. de la Gare 17, 1003 Lausanne -

Eglantine co-founded
Artemia Executive in 2018. This firm offers concrete tools to companies to encourage greater gender diversity in positions of responsibility. The first recruitment and consulting firm in Switzerland to be an expert on the subject, this firm offers a minimum of 50% female candidates for executive, management or board positions and guarantees an inclusive process with particular attention to gender bias.

Nexthink is a company founded by Pedro Bados, Patrick Hertzog and Vincent Bieri, the first two being former EPFL students. Today, it is one of the world leaders in digital experience management. The company employs 1,000 people of 75 different nationalities working in Europe, the UK, the USA, the Middle East and India. DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) programs are one of Nexthink's priorities. The aim is to help reduce gender disparity in the technology industry by providing women with resources, career opportunities and mentoring. For these reasons, Nexthink and the EPFL Alumni Women's Club have formed a partnership.

Participation in this event is free of charge, but for organizational reasons and due to a limited number of places, please register via the link below before September 13.

Don't hesitate to invite your former classmates, friends and fellow EPFL alumnae!

We hope to see you soon,

Diane for the
Women's Club EPFL Alumni Committee
