Tour of Luxtram
Dear alumnae and alumni,
In collaboration with the Association of Luxembourg Alumni from French-speaking Switzerland (FS2), EPFL Alumni Luxembourg is delighted to invite you to a friendly visit to Luxtram, located at 61, Circuit de la Foire Internationale, L-1347 Luxembourg, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 5:45 PM.
Luxtram, a public company, is responsible for the design, construction, and operation of the tramway in Luxembourg, playing a key role in sustainable mobility in the country. This visit will be a great opportunity to get an up-close look at this innovative project and learn more about its impact on the city.
If you’re arriving by tram, simply stay on board until the “Luxexpo” terminus and continue towards the Luxtram site. Don’t forget to inform the driver. For those coming by car, you can ring the bell at the gate (1st floor) after 6 PM, and it will be opened for you. We will meet at the reception on the ground floor.
After the visit, we’ll gather for dinner at Peppermint restaurant, 18, Rue Edward Steichen, L-2540 Luxembourg. The cost is 60 euros per person, including an aperitif, wine, mineral water, and coffee. Payment should be made before the visit to the FS2 association’s bank account (CCPL LU70 1111 1140 7402 0000).
