AlphaFold 2 is an AI system developed by Google DeepMind that predicts the 3D structure of proteins from their amino acid sequences with remarkable accuracy. Jörg Gsponer, is a graduate of the University of Lausanne and the University of Zurich in Medicine and Biochemistry. He is currently a Professor and the Head of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UBC. He will walk us through how he uses this tool and how it has taken his field 50 years into the future.
