From EPFL Startup to AI-Powered Unicorn
Born in EPFL’s labs and now a Swiss unicorn, Nexthink is transforming digital workplaces through advanced analytics and AI technology. Their intelligent platform goes beyond traditional IT monitoring—analyzing billions of data points across global enterprises, learning continuously, and delivering personalized experiences that redefine how employees interact with technology.
Join us for an exciting presentation, which will kick off with a brief introduction by Mohamed Kafsi, followed by an inspiring talk with former EPFL students Sofia Blinova and Yassine Benyahia. They will share their journey from the EPFL classroom to developing powerful AI capabilities for a cloud product, and present several of Nexthink’s latest innovations:
- Assist – a multi-tool AI agent designed to help IT teams act faster: why it was created, what it does, and a glimpse into how it works.
- NL2NQL – fine-tuned LLMs that enable natural-language queries for instant, actionable insights.
- Spark – an advanced multi-tool agent powered by MCP and AI technologies, with an overview of its goals, capabilities, and architecture.
- Evaluation of Spark – how the team assesses the agent’s effectiveness and reliability in real-world scenarios.
Also joining the discussion: Nóra Steinglauber, Eshan Abdoolraman, Moe Haidar, and other members of the Nexthink team, ready to answer your questions and share their experiences.
During the presentation, you will also learn about internships and junior opportunities where you can work directly on Nexthink’s AI-powered analytics platform, trusted by Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
This event is hosted by the EPFL Employability and Development Center for students and recent graduates. As Nexthink is also looking for junior profiles (1–5 years of experience), we are pleased to invite you to join this event and connect with their team on campus.
