Campus Lecture André Hoffmann - The New Nature of Business: The Path to Prosperity and Sustainability
EPFL is pleased to invite you to an exceptional Campus Lecture with André Hoffmann, Vice Chairman of Roche's Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum and former Vice President of the WWF.
On the occasion of the publication of his book The New Nature of Business: The Path to Prosperity and Sustainability, André Hoffmann will share his vision of an economy capable of reconciling financial performance, nature regeneration and shared prosperity.
This event will provide an opportunity to explore the transformations needed in the economic world in response to the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis and to reflect on the role businesses can play in building a sustainable future.
How can we reconcile economic value creation, the preservation of nature and shared prosperity? What transformations are needed for businesses to contribute sustainably to society? Drawing on his unique experience at the intersection of business, innovation and philanthropy, André Hoffmann will present an ambitious vision of the changes underway and the responsibilities that organisations must embrace today.
