The Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) (www.swisscanadianchamber.com) held its annual Christmas event on Thursday December 4 at the GermanHaus (www.germanhaus.ca) in Vancouver’s False Creek neighbourhood. The event was well attended and the highlight of the evening was their silent auction.

The Swiss Alumni Group donated an EPFL package for the silent auction that included an  EPFL t-shirt, cap, mug, and pencil, as well as a postcard of the Rolex Centre. The Swiss Consul General in Vancouver made the highest bid and is now the proud owner of some EPFL merchanise.

In 2026 we will aim to attend more of the events organised by the SCCC to augment our network and connect the Swiss Alumni Group with the Swiss community in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
