As a global leader in machinery for laminated and plastic tubes, AISA stands out as an international industrial player offering comprehensive, innovative, and high-tech solutions for the packaging industry.
It was in this inspiring context that the Vaud–Valais chapter of EPFL Alumni had the pleasure of visiting the company at its Vouvry site at the end of last year. A heartfelt thank you to the entire AISA team for their warm welcome and the quality of the discussions.
Before the visit, few participants realized the complexity of the machines developed, the diversity of the fields involved, or the scale of the global market AISA serves. The visit began with a presentation that provided valuable insight into the company’s technological concepts, manufactured products, and the technical and strategic challenges it faces.
The discussions—open, dynamic, and engaging—sparked genuine dialogue that was greatly appreciated by the participants, encouraging the exchange of ideas and perspectives on key technological and industrial issues.
Exploring the production site highlighted the intensity of innovation and the wealth of expertise within the company, where many different professions work closely together at every stage of machine design and manufacturing. The live demonstration of a machine in operation left a lasting impression, clearly showcasing the teams’ technological mastery and high level of excellence.
