Startup Champions Seed Night 2022

In front of an audience of over 500 people on site and online, Bloom Biorenewables won the 11th edition of the 2022 Startup Champions Seed Night on May 5th, 2022!. Bloom Biorenewables groundbreaking technology turns residue biomass into sustainable alternatives to petroleum for industries such as plastics, fragrances or fuels.

A big thank you to all the startups that participated and had the opportunity to present their technology to a large audience of investors and innovation enthusiasts.

Thank you so much also to our two highly successful entrepreneurs, both EPFL graduates, who joined as keynote speakers:
– Raquel Urtasun, one of the highest-profile figures in the self-driving vehicle industry. After leading Uber’s self-driving car division, she founded her own company, Waabi. Raquel Urtasun owns an EPFL PhD in computer science.
– Jurgi Camblong, co-founder and CEO of SOPHiA GENETICS one of the leading and fastest growing company in data-driven medicine. He owns an EPFL EMBA.
