Novamet Sàrl is a Swiss industrial technology company focused on optimizing furnace performance and reducing energy consumption in the metals industry. We are expanding our team to meet growing demand and are seeking a skilled Project Manager and Software Implementation Specialist.

Position Overview:
This role combines technical, commercial, and project management responsibilities. You will manage client projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth software implementation, customizing solutions, and maintaining strong client communication throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction & Requirements Gathering: Act as the main contact for clients, gathering requirements and understanding their needs.

• Project Planning & Task Management: Coordinate project timelines, manage resources, and track progress using tools like Trello.

• Software Customization & Configuration: Customize software components to meet client requirements and integrate with existing systems.

• Delivery Validation & Communication: Validate software functionality, manage project deliveries, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to clients, ensuring they are fully equipped to use the software.

• Bug Reporting & Follow-up: Identify, report, and resolve software issues in collaboration with the development team.

• Commercial Proposals & Communication: Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms with clients, and communicate requirements to the development team.

• Project Management Tools: Use tools like Trello to manage tasks and ensure coherent communication across teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or similar.

• Proven experience in project management and software implementation in industrial or technical settings.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and basic scripting (JavaScript, Node.js).

• Familiarity with industrial systems (e.g., PLCs, IoT sensors) is a plus.

• Excellent client-facing communication skills and experience in preparing commercial proposals.

• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira).
