As a Data Scientist specializing in time-series data analytics at SmartHelio, you will be responsible for analyzing large time-series data sets, developing and implementing models, and generating meaningful insights for our clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on global climatic models, weather, and meteorological data to develop accurate weather forecast models.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop analytics models and functionalities to generate meaningful insights (diagnostics, prognostic, prescriptive) for PV and BESS Asset operators/managers.
- Analyze large time-series data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Build, test/validate ML/Deep learning or isolated physics-informed models for time-series data analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Work on global climatic models, and meteorological data and develop weather forecasts.
- Apply statistical analysis and hypothesis testing techniques to validate/optimize models.
- Implement iterative development processes to refine/improve data analytics models.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in time-series data analytics, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
Profil recherché
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Data Science/Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience - in building machine learning and deep learning models for time-series data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its data science libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Statsmodels, and TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with time-series analysis techniques, including PyCaret, GluonTS, TensorFlow Probability, ARIMA, LSTM, and Prophet.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation for time-series data.
- Proficiency in linear/non-linear modeling, statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
