The "Realm of Color: Soul of Art" is a special exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Swiss modern artist Andr é Eward.
André Ewald is regarded as one of the most representative artists in Swiss modern art and an important pioneer of Swiss concrete constructivist art. His works blend nature and geometry, color and order, the real world and free abstraction in a unique way, occupying an important position in the development of modern art in 20th century Europe.
This exhibition, as the first museum level solo exhibition of artist Andre Eward in China, gathers over a hundred representative works covering four core creative fields: Art Nouveau, landscape painting, still life painting, and abstract art of concrete constructivism. The entire exhibition is like a slowly rising spiral, leading the audience into the rich and profound art world of Eward: from the decorative and elegant lines of the Art Nouveau movement, to the flowing landscape works of light and shadow, poetic still life, to the abstract compositions full of power. Eward creates a peaceful, imaginative, and spiritually profound artistic language with extremely keen color perception and a profound understanding of light harmony.
