EPFL Alumni Shanghai together with ETH Shanghai and SORSA Swiss Branch organized a Spring outing in Changshu city, Jiangsu province on April 15-16, 2023.

On top of the nice Spring weather and beautiful scenery of Changshu, we had the chance to visit Changshu High Tech Zone as well as Yanfeng car seats manufacturing and were inspired a lot by how the local economy is supporting the innovation and the industry in this region. At the same time, we were also impressed by the almost full automation of the car seats manufacturing at Yanfeng which represents the highest level of manufacturing process and development in China.
