From February 2023 to August 2023
I worked on a 6-degree-of-freedom tracking algorithm design with the Mixed-Reality/Spatial-Computing team. We applied machine learning and computer vision techniques to achieve real-time object tracking in space. Our algorithm improved the tracking quality by over 30% with a simultaneous over 20% of speed improvement.
Research assistant
National Taiwan University , Da'an district - Temporary contract
From August 2020 to May 2021
We developed a distributed learning algorithm and provided theoretical proof of its speed and accuracy. The algorithm allows a group of machines to collaborate to learn a common goal without leaking privacy to other machines while only knowing its local cluster (no need to know the entire network.)
